Hi, I'm Sloan.

I’m a writer, editor, and writing coach.  I love language learning, puppetry, & connecting with other book nerds and theatre people. I believe art is critical in dark times & we owe it to ourselves and each other to continue creating and collaborating.

In the early 2025 swirl of anxiety, I felt an urgent need to recommit to my writing in a new way: to build community & collaborate, to go deeper into our art when the risk of distraction is so high.

I reached out to writer friends & family, fellow alums from my MFA program, former clients, & my internet communities. I asked: how do we keep showing up? how do we make time for art when the world is on fire? how can we keep our creative spark alive, finish books, and market them -- all while surviving these times?

Come hang out with us, hear their answers, & let's talk about it. I hope to see you there!
