Nora Fiffer

Nora Fiffer is a writer, director, producer, and actor in theatre and film. Nora’s debut feature film, “Another Happy Day,” starring Lauren Lapkus and featuring Carrie Coon, premiered at Vail Film Festival and was an official selection of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and Beverly Hills Film Festival. The film screened in select cities and was released in the fall of 2024 by Gravitas Ventures on Apple TV and Prime Video. Nora's filmmaking ethos of providing childcare to cast and crew and committing to 8-hour shoot days was profiled in Variety, and the film was recently featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Nora is also the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Firelight Theatre Workshop, dedicated to creating intimate and original theatre experiences in Peterborough, New Hampshire. With Firelight, Nora has co-written + co-produced over 20 site-specific, immersive projects onstage and on film. The workshop, named Best Experimental Theatre by NH Magazine, is the recipient of the Ewing Performance Award and the Best Director and Best Production Awards by The New Hampshire Theatre Alliance. A graduate of NYU Tisch and The School at Steppenwolf, Nora has performed with Steppenwolf, Goodman, Lookingglass, Court, Northlight, Chicago Shakespeare, Steep, receiving two Jeff Nominations for Best Supporting Actress. Nora was a recent speaker for the Monadnock Summer Lyceum and is currently a nominee for the United States Artist Fellowship. Nora believes heartily in considering the audience experience from the writing process through the release of the work.
