About this speaker
Samantha Wallen is a poet, writing guide, and book coach who believes writing is an essential practice for living with courage and clarity in a chaotic world. With an MFA from Naropa University’s Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, she has supported hundreds of writers through workshops, retreats, and private mentoring, helping them break through obstacles and claim their authentic voice. Samantha’s approach blends soulful inquiry, compassionate presence, and a conviction that words and how we use them matter and they create the consciousness and reality we live in. She helps writers claim themselves as real writers, build sustainable practices, and create visible, lasting writing lives. Samantha’s forthcoming poetry collection, Weight of Water, explores grief, restoration, and bearing witness to what is vanishing. She is passionate about reminding people that writing is not a luxury but a revolutionary act of connection, attention, resistance, and deep restoration.
